Overview
The Divemaster Course is an advanced training program designed for experienced divers who aspire to take on leadership roles within the diving community. This course provides comprehensive training in dive leadership, management, and instructional support. It’s ideal for those looking to guide dive trips, assist instructors, and contribute to the safety and enjoyment of other divers.
Training and Skill Development
Throughout the Divemaster Course, you’ll receive in-depth training in a variety of areas including dive planning, rescue operations, and underwater navigation. You’ll also learn how to supervise and mentor other divers, conduct dive briefings, and manage dive site logistics. The course combines theoretical lessons with extensive practical experience, including leading dives, assisting with training sessions, and participating in real-world diving scenarios to hone your skills.

Certification and Career Opportunities
Upon successful completion of the Divemaster Course, you’ll earn a certification that qualifies you to work as a professional dive leader. This certification opens up numerous career opportunities within the diving industry, including roles as a dive guide, dive shop staff, or even a precursor to becoming a diving instructor. By becoming a Divemaster, you’ll gain the expertise and credentials needed to take on significant responsibilities, enhance your diving career, and share your passion for underwater exploration with others.

The Divemaster in Details
For your course you'll be paired up with an instructor who will be your mentor and take you through all of the theory as well as in-water work during your program. You'll also get to assist other instructors and divemasters with students and divers, which allows you to learn from different perspectives and get real hands-on experience.
The DM course can be completed in as little as 2 weeks in an intensive course, but we typically recommend planning on at least 3 to 4 weeks to have the full experience. With 3 or more weeks you’ll have plenty of time to complete the course requirements and get a bit more experience in assisting and leading.
